Espenshade - s/t
http://www.sendspace.com/file/dh704k

Espenshade was an awesome indie rock band from the Harrisburg area. This was their first demo about 2002 I believe. They were the house band at The Why're then.

For fans of Braid, Mock Orange, Skiploader.

This time the fat fights back!

xStretchmarkx - Don't Judge The Pudge
http://www.sendspace.com/file/29l05g

The joke band of all joke bands. Take youth crew and fat kid jokes plus a little tough guy hardcore mentality and this is what you get. They used to do a Chain of Strength cover live and throw twinkies at everyone.

For fans of Gayrilla Biscuits, Good Clean Fun, One Life Crew.

SPTSNZ - my friends are going to destroy the world
http://www.sendspace.com/file/bdj0rk

Russian special purpose regiments or Spetsnaz, Specnaz (Russian: Войска специального назначения, (спецназ, pronounced [spʲɪtˈsnas]) tr: Voyska spetsialnogo naznacheniya; pronounced [ˈvojskə ˈspʲɛtsɨəlnəvə ˈnaznətɕɪnʲɪjə]) is a general term for "special forces" in Russian, literally "special purpose". These Russian special forces can specifically refer to any elite or special purpose units under subordination of the Federal Security Service (FSB) or Internal Troops of Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the units controlled by the military intelligence service GRU.

They wore masks when they played. For fans of San Diego chaotic spazz punk.

Running From Dharma / Hoping For The Better

Running From Dharma / Hoping For The Better
Split CD
CI Records
2000

Awesome release from two indie/post-hardcore local bands. The release show was at Studio 22 in Hershey(Yes, it was a barn and other great bands such as Saves The Day, Thursday, & As Friends Rust played early shows there). Dharma went on to release a full length. I don't know if Hoping For The Better put anything else out, I just remember them having 3 guitarists.

Old Central PA bands!

I was reading a thread on a message board about obscure local bands that didn't get the attention they deserved. So I wanted to try and put up as much info I could find about some of the local bands I have liked over the years. Let me know if you have any info or could upload some tracks! chrisbavaria [at] gmail [dot] com
